Our Home and Haunted Land

It's the 1st long weekend of Summer 2022, aka Victoria Day Weekend. As we interrogate Toronto's colonial past, be sure to check out Our Home and Haunted Land, created by Nadine Valcin and Priam Givord and a part of ArtworxTO. Produced by OYA Black Arts Coalition.

As a visual experience, Our Home And Haunted Land is part of a larger ongoing conversation, still pertinent to our news feeds, which the award-winning creative team of this exclusively BIPOC + intersectional project can speak to.

In addition to the impressive, large-scale, 2D installation, food trucks on-site will be providing tasty Toronto treats, including a limited number of complimentary food tickets each evening. They are Randy's Roti and Doubles, Chocco Churo, and Jerk Brothers (we're talking jerk chicken sammies, corn soup, doubles, roti, pholourie, chocolate churros, etc, etc...!), along with the nightly live sets from DJ Lighter. The production team will also be on hand to take audience questions.

It's going to be a Long Weekend Lyme!
